India’s Obsession With Reservation – Hardik Patel Is Just Another Cattle In The Herd

India’s Obsession With Reservation – Hardik Patel Is Just Another Cattle In The Herd

August 27, 2015 by

At the time of framing constitution of India, Dr.B.R Ambedkar, Chairman of Drafting Committee introduce “Rights to Minorities” in which some privileges were given to minority class as to subdue untouchability legacy. All the higher Governmental as well as non-governmental posts were occupied by people of first two Verna i.e. Kshatriyas and Brahmins.

“Right to minority” was acquainted to improve the conditions of Dalits and other minority groups, but constitutional committees never thought that this right will engulf the nation one day.

Chaos in Gujarat for reservation quota for Patels lead by Hardik Patel is on its zenith, several government properties have been burnt, and abundance of people left their government jobs to support this revolution but is it really a revolution?

Gujarat is the birth place of Mohandas Karmchand Gandhi, a follower of non-violence, but today’s scenario is different, the word “Non-Violence” has completely vanished from the heart of Gujarat, They want reservation quota otherwise innocent people of Gujarat would pay.

Is this an emerging India?

Indians are spread all over the globe and some of them also hold the higher positions in tycoon companies like Google, Microsoft etc. We prove our abilities in all fields’ weather it is a sports, inventions or entertainment but still from last 68 years we are a developing country, why not developed?

Our nation is obsessed with a quota system, and this is only the root cause problem which restricts our nation development.

“Equality and Secular” are two words which are written in our Preamble. I will define these two words.

Equality means treat all citizens of India equally, yes we are treated equally that’s why a student who got 143 marks was not able make his seat in IIT’s but a student with 83 marks easily get his seat with a preferable course choice in IIT, is this equality?

Secular means where people of all religion stay together and share their happiness with each other, yes we are secular too that’s why Muzzafarnagar riots took place. I don’t think these two words are required in preamble.

If we want our India rising, then we have to initiate a change, I discussed the root cause of the problem above, and so if we want to change our nation’s status from developing to develop we have to eliminate it. I know grains are not grown in a single day, but its practice starts from day 1.
