What The Indian Society Really Wants From A Girl, Right From Her Birth Till Her Death!

The Indian society is well known for its democracy, but nowadays it is known for the growing number of rape cases. One case is barely solved and no justice is done that another case comes up. Women are no longer considered the Lakshmi of the house, but a source of sexual satisfaction for men.

In the Indian society, the woman doesn’t only take care of her children all day, but also her husbands parents attending to all their needs, when he comes home at night she gives him food to eat, gets his hot water bath ready and then readies herself to be used or as it is said THEY MAKE LOVE, where the man takes out all his frustration because he has the license to do what he wants and also because he is the stronger sex. So this is not called rape. If the woman says no that means she cannot fulfill the needs of her man and if she is weak, then she is forced to MAKE LOVE so that the man is satisfied. This too is not called rape.

In India women don’t go out at night because it is not safe as they can fall prey to sex hungry men. Young girls working in B.P.O’s usually are the ones that fall prey to these sex hungry men. The Indian society looks down upon the western society. But it is their society that is more open minded. Women are not judged on what they wear or who they hang out with, they are treated equal to men and are considered as capable as men in all fields of work. The people of the western society do not consider women weak or incapable of anything or are not considered the weaker sex. Unlike the Indian society where women are asked to shut up when men are talking and are not given proper education as they are only useful for household work and reproduction.

It is not the people, but the society that is the cause of women being treated in this way. When we speak of society we also mean the women in the society that are a part of the law making body, where a girl is considered cheap if she hangs out with the opposite sex, but in case of a boy he is considered popular if he hangs out with the opposite sex. If she wears something revealing or short where a lot of skin is visible, she is shameless, but if he takes of his T-shirt and roams in public then he has a sexy body so he must show it off.

It is also the fault of the women for not taking a stand from the very beginning. They gave into the society. If they had not done so, the people would have been more broad minded and there would have been little or no rape. Women would say yes if they wanted it, and no if they did not want it. It would depend on both the sexes. It would be done out of free will. So men wouldn’t be deprived of it and women wouldn’t feel ashamed to give in.

Every female has a story of her childhood where she was either raped or manhandled. The culprits being their own cousin, uncle or in some cases the man who gave birth to them, their very own father. The girl grows up with the fright of being touched by anyone. She becomes introvert and keeps away from all men. This has a great effect on her life and future. She is unable to share the incidents with anyone because the culprit threatens her that he will spoil her name.

Women are not machines which anyone can use for satisfaction. They too are made of flesh and blood, then why the differences. They are the most hardworking creatures on the earth. Be it in any form of life, females should be considered superior. For them life means pain in every form. Be it sexually or emotionally. They face menstruation from an early age. P.M.S. does exist. That happens every month of their lives. Then for the first time they have intercourse they face pain. They then get pregnant and carry a life inside them for nine months. While in labor they face pain again while giving birth. They then face pain by getting beaten up by their husbands and in-laws. Then again, they face it when their children grow up and consider them a burden. Pain is faced by them in all forms, be it physically, emotionally, mentally or sexually. Women have become a victim of society, and the change will not take place until we become the change we want to see.
